4.4 MW Solar Project Completes Grid Connection In France

meeco has announced that the Prunu solar PV installation has officially been connected to the Corsican grid in France.

The project, which has a capacity of 4.422 MW, started production in late November. The installation is located in the French Department of Corse-du-Sud, specifically in the village of Bastelicaccia.

Other companies that participated in the project include So/Lar Corse, ABB, Ralos GmbH, Canadian Solar and KACO new energy.

The installation is expected to generate over 6 GWh of power in its first year, and will benefit from a feed-in-tariff that grants 42 eurocents/kWh.
