Vermont-based solar energy solutions provider groSolar has acquired Chesapeake Solar, an installer of solar energy systems in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Richard Deutschmann and Jeff Gilbert founded Chesapeake Solar in 1999 as Chesapeake Wind & Solar LLC.
