Denmark-based Aalborg CSP says it has entered the Indian solar market with the delivery of a steam generator for a first 50 MW parabolic-trough concentrating solar power (CSP) plant in India for Godawari Green Energy Ltd.
The company is partnering with Japan-based Sojitz on the project, which will produce superheated steam at 385 degrees C. The heat exchanging technology is based on shell and tube-heat exchangers with header design, the company notes.
