Acciona Energy North America say it is planning the official dedication of its Nevada Solar One 64 MW solar thermal power plant, located in Boulder City, Nev., for Feb. 22. The company says Nevada Solar One is the largest solar thermal electric power plant to be built in the last 16 years, and is the third largest plant of its kind in the world.
During the Feb. 22 event, industry leaders, scientists and celebrity activists will all be present to discuss Nevada Solar One and the future of renewable energy resources in the U.S.
