Advanced Energy Industries Inc. has been awarded the second-phase contract for a newly expanded 6 MW solar plant installed at Aerojet's corporate headquarters in Sacramento, Calif. The company will supply its Solaron PV inverters for the project.
After the successful commissioning of the original 3.6 MW site in November 2009, Solar Power Inc. announced a 2.4 MW expansion, bringing the total capacity of the site to 6 MW. The expansion is expected to be completed in April 2010.
