Advanced Solar Photonics LLC (ASP), a manufacturer of crystalline photovoltaic solar modules and racking systems, has developed a new PV ground-mount system.
According to the company, the system features helical anchors to make the installation of large PV solar projects more simple and efficient. These anchors are stronger than concrete and include precise robotic welding and corrugated, cold-formed helix plates, the company says.
Designed for large commercial and utility-scale projects, ASP's mounting system is pre-assembled at the factory prior to the installation of the foundations. The company says this process provides for shorter project turn-around time and reduced field-labor project costs. All components of the system are manufactured at ASP's manufacturing facility in Lake Mary, Fla.
