Advent Solar Inc., a manufacturer of solar cells and modules, has appointed Fares Bagh vice president of engineering and technology, and Naresh Baliga vice president of strategic marketing.
Bagh is responsible for developing Advent Solar's next generation of solar modules, manufacturing technology processes and technical alliances. Prior to joining Advent Solar, he worked at Intel Corp. for 16 years
Baliga will create product marketing strategies and lead Advent Solar's initiatives in emerging markets. He joins Advent Solar with 20 years of semiconductor industry experience in developing product and marketing strategies for emerging markets. Previously, he served as the vice president of marketing for Inapac Technology, a startup focused on stack memory solutions.
