AECOM Technology Corp., a provider of technical and management support services for government and commercial clients, says AECOM-SPP – a teaming arrangement with Solar Power Partners – has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

AECOM-SPP will develop solar power installations at Navy and Marine Corps sites in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. Under the contract, which has one base year and four additional option years, AECOM will provide engineering, procurement and construction services for solar power systems, while SPP will finance and own the systems.

AECOM-SPP is one of five firms that won IDIQ contracts for this work. The five contracts have a combined potential value of $100 million. These contractors may all compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the contract.
