AEG Power Solutions (AEG PS) says it has been awarded a PV contract for 260 MW of utility-scale equipment. Beginning this December, over a period of one year, AEG PS will provide complete balance-of-system services for 13 20 MW PV plants in eastern Europe.
Under the contract, AEG PS will design and supply its TKS-C solution, which consists of solar inverter, monitoring and supervising equipment, as well as transformer and medium-voltage switchgear. The company will also supply combiner boxes and the PV power monitoring and control solution.
AEG PS notes that its Protect PV.250 inverter will be used in the initial stage of the project, and the Protect PV.500 inverter will be used in the second phase of the project.
