AEG Power Solutions (AEG PS), wholly owned by 3W Power Holdings SA, has acquired Spain-based OpcionDos, a PV engineering company.
According to Enrique de la Cruz of AEG PS, the acquisition brings to AEG knowledge in the integration of ‘high-end’ PV technologies. In addition, the company, whose existing product portfolio includes solar inverters and monitoring technologies, plans to use OpcionDos' skill set to develop building-integrated PV projects.
OpcionDos will be a dedicated unit within the solar strategic business unit of AEG PS.
