Ohio-based Applied Energy Technologies (AET) is shipping its Rayport-I solar string inverter mounting kit.
AET says the Rayport-I fits most string inverters on the market, can mount at a 15-degree or 30-degree tilt, and can be used in both rooftop and ground-mount systems. For rooftop installations, the Rayport-I can be installed without penetrating the roof.
The unit is made of stainless steel and weighs 13 lbs. The company says the Rayport-I has been tested under a variety of challenging environmental conditions.
