0

Airstreams Renewables Inc. (ARI), a provider of safety and technical training for the renewable energy sector, will build a new renewable energy training facility adjacent to a 1.5 MW to 2 MW solar park in Tehachapi, Calif.Â

ARI has coordinated the solar park with a major solar developer through the execution of a 33-year lease on 14 acres of land owned by ARI affiliates and located directly adjacent to the renewable energy training center. The project is scheduled to be built starting in 2013 and has been unanimously approved by the Kern County board of supervisors under a Conditional Use Permit.

‘With plans to launch our proven technical training methodologies into the solar sector, this solar project will provide our staff and students with access to state-of-the-art equipment necessary for our solar training programs planned for development,’ says Dave Schulgen, founder and CEO.
