Akeena Solar Inc., a designer and installer of solar systems, has opened a new office in Bakersfield, Calif., to serve the growing demand of solar power from residential and commercial customers in the area.
‘The solar power industry continues to expand as more people embrace clean energy and government policies encourage adoption of solar power,’ says Barry Cinnamon, Akeena Solar's chief executive officer. ‘Simultaneously, there are more solar panels available, making it easier to meet consumer demand.’
