Alanod-Solar, a manufacturer of reflective and absorptive solar surfaces, has unveiled its new lacquering facility in Ennepetal, Germany. This new facility represents a total investment of $25 million, and the lacquering line increases Alanod-Solar's annual capacity by nearly 10 million additional square feet of surfaces per year, the company says.
This plant features coil-to-coil lacquering capabilities to produce weather-resistant aluminum surfaces for both reflective and absorptive outdoor solar applications. It adds to Alanod-Solar's innovative surface production capabilities, including vacuum coating technology. Together, these technologies enable Alanod-Solar to produce its weatherproof solar surfaces entirely in-house, the company adds.
