Array Technologies says its DuraTrack HZ solar tracker has been selected by American Capital Energy (ACE) for use in a 20 MW solar photovoltaic power plant being constructed near Searchlight, Nev., 55 miles south of Las Vegas.
The project is the result of an agreement between ACE and NV Energy to assist NV Energy in meeting Nevada's renewable portfolio standard (RPS), which requires that utilities generate 25% of their power through renewable resources and energy efficiency and conservation programs by 2025.
