American Solar Direct (ASD), a provider of solar leases, has promoted Andrew Schneider to chief operating officer, in addition to retaining his current responsibility as chief information officer.
Prior to joining ASD, Schneider was chief information officer of a major energy retailer, where he led the development of the company's systems, processes and infrastructure. Prior to that, he led the IT group of a multi-national engineering and architectural firm.
ASD notes that it recently opened sales offices in San Diego and northern California, as well as additional warehouse centers in the state.
