Amphenol Industrial, a provider of interconnect systems, has introduced the Helios H4, a dual-rated (UL/TUV) PV connector, which the company says meets NEC 2008 without the need for extra locking collars and locking sleeves.
The Helios H4 connector uses Amphenol's RADSOK technology to achieve higher current ratings and lower contact resistance than other connectors, resulting in lower power losses, according to the company.
The connector is available through Amphenol's global distribution network, including Avnet, PEI, Arrow, TTI and Powell in the U.S.; RS and Farnell in Asia; and Lapp, HIK and SOLAR- KABEL in Europe.
