Solar developer AMSOLAR Corp. has signed an agreement with San Francisco-based GCL Solar Energy Inc. to develop and install a 5.2 MW project for the San Diego Unified School District.
When completed, the project will bring solar power to 20 sites in the district, using both rooftops and parking lots. GCL will provide engineering, procurement and construction expertise and backing for the project as part of its partnership with AMSOLAR to jointly develop up to approximately $100 million in projects at schools across the U.S.
