AMtec Solar, a division of AMtec Industries Inc., has added two new models to its line of string monitoring combiner boxes. With the addition of the PROM24M and PROM32 models, integrators can now select from four sizes: 8, 16, 24 and 32 strings, the company says.
The two new sizes come standard in a NEMA 4 powder-coated steel enclosure with plastic safety covers, finger-safe fuse holders, integrated wire management, silk-screen labeling and a customer mounting panel with pressed-in PEM nuts. They are powder-coated bright white.
The units meet UL1741 standards at 600 V and will soon be listed to 1000 V, AMtec Solar adds. All AMtec Solar products are manufactured in Hayward, Calif.
