Amtech Reaches $30 Million In Total Orders For Q1’15

Arizona-based developer of solar and semiconductor manufacturing equipment Amtech Systems Inc. says its total orders for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, reached $30 million – including $21 million of solar orders.

Amtech says the orders represent the highest order volume in three years. The orders are expected to ship within the next three to nine months.

The announcement reflects the first quarter of the company's 2015 fiscal year (Q1'15). Amtech says it will report its complete financial results for the first quarter in February.

‘We are very pleased to announce this record volume of orders since the last up cycle, which demonstrates our successful participation in selective capacity expansion opportunities in the current solar market,’ says Fokko Pentinga, CEO of Amtech.

In December, Amtech acquired Netherlands-based SoLayTec.
