Pittsburgh-based Angstrom Sciences, a provider of magnetron technology used to produce thin films through a sputtering process, has appointed Frank T. Zimone vice president of business development. In this role, he will direct the growth of the company's global sales activities and develop a select number of integration and channel partners.
Zimone has more than 25 years of experience in the thin-film coating industry. Prior to joining Angstrom, he served as vice president of operations at Reactive Nano Technologies. Prior to that role, he was president of Denton Vacuum.
