Swinerton Renewable Energy has selected the Rayport-G ECO mounting system from Applied Energy Technologies (AET), a supplier of commercial and utility-scale racking systems, for a 30 MW DC project in North Carolina.
AET had to provide extensive custom engineering support for this project seeing as the site had a flood plain height varying from two feet to six feet. The company performed a detailed analysis to determine final post lengths and post sizes required to maintain a leading edge height that was above the required flood plain height.
According to AET, the Rayport-G ECO has been engineered to withstand challenging environments while also being light and compact enough to reduce freight costs and enable easier handling.
AET delivered materials over a six-week period in order to meet Swinerton's timeline.
