Charlotte, N.C.-based Argand Energy Solutions LLC has opened an office in White Plains, N.Y. The company has also hired Anthony Conklin as its vice president of business development.
Erik Lensch, president and CEO of Argand, says New York is emerging as one of the strongest regional markets for solar energy in the U.S. under the NY-Sun Initiative.
Conklin, who will be based in the White Plains office, will focus on developing opportunities among public entities and commercial businesses. Prior to joining Argand, he was regional sales director at Energy Systems & Installation. He also spent five years at Mercury Solar.
