The Arizona Solar Power Society and Applied Professional Training (APT), an American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP)-approved provider and a nationally accredited technical training firm, have unveiled a new schedule for Arizona Solar Installation Training Classes offered statewide.

APT administers the NABCEP entry-level certification test on the last day of class. Students that pass the test should receive their NABCEP certificate in two to three weeks.

The first APT entry-level solar installation training class will be held July 20-24, at the Ft. McDowell Radisson Inn and Casino in Scottsdale, Ariz. Students will attend class from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additional classes are scheduled statewide in Glendale, Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Peoria, Surprise, Yuma and Flagstaff. Private classes of 15 or more students can be arranged for corporate customers, the organizers note.

Class tuition is $1,295, plus tax, which includes the cost of NABCEP entry-level test administration. Students can sign up and pay for the solar installation training classes at http://www.meetup.com/arizona-solar-power-society/calendar/10609080/.
