Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. has appointed Gary Gatchell chief financial officer, responsible for internal and external financial reporting and management systems.
Prior to joining Ascent Solar, Gatchell served as the chief financial officer of Carrier Access Corp., a telecommunications equipment provider. He joined Carrier Access in June 2005 to reorganize that company's finance and administration infrastructure. Prior to joining Carrier Access, Gatchell served as the chief financial officer of Voyant Technologies Inc. and as an audit manager at KPMG.
