Ascent Solar Technologies Inc., a developer of lightweight, flexible thin-film photovoltaic modules, has launched its FlexPower line of products, which includes the Light, Mobile and Extreme modules.
FlexPower Light modules are manufactured for the building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) market. At five meters long, they deliver 123 W. FlexPower Mobile modules are intended for the electronic integrated photovoltaic (EIPV) market. These modules are designed for 12-volt battery-charging applications and integration with consumer electronics. Finally, the Extreme class of modules is designed to provide high power density and match existing battery recharging ecosystems, allowing for more supply line independence, Ascent Solar explains.
