Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. has launched the WaveSol series of five-meter-long modules to its current portfolio of building-integrated PV (BIPV) and building-applied PV product portfolios. The product is designed to meet the needs of large commercial-scale rooftop installations.
WaveSol WSLB 3200-190 is the highest power five-meter flexible and lightweight copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) module available, according to the company. The module family consists of fewer parts than others, which reduces overall internal power losses and reduces manufacturing and testing operations.
