Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. has signed an agreement to provide modules to FTL Solar for its research and development contract with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
The companies plan to work on the development of lightweight flexible structures that include energy production from solar electric modules produced by Ascent Solar. The development work will be carried out under a $22,500 collaborative agreement between FTL Solar and the Center for Advanced Microelectronic Manufacturing in Endicott, N.Y., and the Center for Autonomous Solar at Binghamton University.
