ASPS Introduces Realtor Solar Scout Training Program


The Arizona Solar Power Society (ASPS) has launched a new sales program designed to teach Realtors and real estate agents how to increase their sales revenue by selling energy efficiency home surveys, solar water heaters and solar power systems to residential and commercial customers.

‘Many Realtors may not realize it, but they are uniquely qualified to sell energy-efficient upgrades and solar power systems to customers that are buying new or existing homes that have big rooftops facing south or west,’ says Robert Hoskins, president of ASPS. ‘The real estate industry is in the perfect position to roll the cost of energy-efficient upgrades and solar power/water heaters into a 30-year, $203,000 mortgage – the same way they sell swimming pools.’

The ASPS is currently targeting realty companies including RE/MAX, Long Realty Alliance, West USA Realty, Realty Executives, Coldwell Banker, Century 21, Keller Williams and the Arizona Association of Realtors.
