Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China-based Astronergy has been selected for a 2 MW rooftop PV project, located in Hangzhou Energy and Environment Industrial Park, through a competitive bidding process.
This project is fully financed by China Energy Conservation Investment Corp. and is Zhejiang Province's first large-scale, on-grid PV plant, according to Astroenergy.
Astronergy will design and install the entire project with a combination of crystalline silicon-based modules and high-efficiency tandem thin-film PV modules. This project will be completed by Sept. 30, the company says.
