Astronergy and Oerlikon Solar have signed a follow-up purchase agreement for Oerlikon Solar's thin-film production equipment. With this order, Astronergy will increase its production capacity from its current 30 MW to 75 MW in 2011.
Astronergy's expansion plan calls for the production of up to 400 MW within the near future.
