Home solar provider Astrum Solar has reached an agreement with DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions to collaborate on standards for solar installation offerings and ensure the continued use of premium-quality system components.
According to the companies, the agreement is designed to speed home solar installations through the adoption of product specifications that improve efficiency and lifetime, lower costs and increase returns on investments.
With input from DuPont, Astrum Solar will advocate best practice specifications, promote data transparency and provide access to a comprehensive suite of analytical tools. DuPont will collaborate with Astrum Solar on specifications for materials that deliver improved efficiency, lifetime and lower overall system costs.
