AU Optronics (AUO) has completed its acquisition of a 9 MW solar power project in an unspecified Pennsylvania school district. According to AUO, this installation will be the largest solar power plant in Pennsylvania when completed.
The installation will use 37,500 of AUO's modules and is expected to be completed in September. It will generate 10,880,000 MWh of electricity annually for the daily use of approximately 5,000 students in five nearby schools.
