AWS Truepower LLC, a provider in renewable energy consulting and information services, has entered into a partnership with New York State Colleges to form the Center for Evaluation of Clean Energy Technology (CeCeT).
CeCeT will provide manufacturers of clean energy technology access to testing equipment and expertise. The partnership was made possible by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), which awarded $4.2 million to Intertek, a provider of quality assurance testing and certification, to open a solar testing facility in Cortland, N.Y., as well as a new wind turbine blade testing lab at Clarkson University.
AWS Truepower will partner with Intertek, Clarkson University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Alfred State College, and Binghamton University.
