TS-Space Systems says that Azur Space Solar Power GmbH, a developer of concentrated PV cells for space and terrestrial applications, has chosen TS-Space Systems' Unisim solar simulator.
TS-Space Systems uses metal halide sources in solar simulators for photovoltaic testing. According to the company, the high temporal stability and close spectral match – combined with the ability to control the output spectrum via multiple separate wave bands – makes the Unisim solar simulator suitable for the measurement of multiple-junction devices, including four-junction devices.
