Minooka, Ill.-based BatteryJack's sealed lead division, PowerStar, has released the PS12-230, a high-drain, deep-cycle battery designed to for use in backup power and solar applications.
According to the company, the battery's unique lead-calcium alloy plates ensure strong performance and long product life. The sealed, maintenance-free technology alleviates the need to monitor water and acid levels, while allowing users to mount the battery in any position.
The 12V 230AH battery measures 20.55 inches long, 9.45 inches wide and 8.58 inches tall, and weighs 141 lbs. Â
