Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has been awarded a series of contracts for setting up three grid-connected solar power plants with a cumulative capacity of 6 MW on a turnkey basis as part of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission in India.
The contracts call for setting up three PV plans, teach with a capacity of 2 MW. Indiabulls, which signed signed the contracts with BHEL, plans to use crystalline PV modules for the projects.
