Borrego Solar Systems Inc., a designer, installer and financier of grid-tied solar photovoltaic systems, says it has been awarded a contract by the General Services Administration (GSA).
Through the contract, Borrego Solar is now certified to provide its solar installation services to federal agencies.
The company says it expects increased interest from the federal and military sectors – particularly the Department of Defense, which is expected to continue to increase spending on renewable energy, reaching $10 billion annually by 2030, according to Pike Research.
