Bosch Solar Energy, a division of the Bosch Group, has completed a 1.9 MW solar photovoltaic project in Hawaii.
The company says the project, which will provide power for 11 sites, is the largest solar PV installation in Maui County. The sites include four fire stations, two senior centers, the Lahaina police station, the Eddie Tam Community Center, the Kihei Aquatic Center and two wastewater treatment facilities.
Bosch Solar Energy and its partners jointly developed, constructed and financed the multiple-site project. A power purchase agreement allowed the county to install the solar energy system with no up-front costs.
