BP Solar International Inc. has introduced the BP Solar Associate Developer Program (ADP). The company says the ADP is designed to leverage the local reputation, relationships and expertise of small to midsize developers and adds BP's financial strength and project development experience to more adeptly navigate the development process and thereby bring more projects to fruition.
Qualified Associate Developers have sites under control, knowledge of the local interconnection process, preferably with one or more projects in or through that process, and an understanding of local, state/provincial and federal environmental and permitting requirements. Qualifying projects range from 1 MW to 5 MW for rooftop projects and 5 MW to 20 MW for ground-mounted projects.
