B&R Industrial Automation has released its latest generation of compact, DIN-rail mountable power supplies. This new line ranges from 2.1 A single-phase to 40 A three-phase and can handle an input voltage range of 100 VAC-240 VAC for single-phase devices to 400-500 VAC for three-phase devices.
B&R power supplies are designed to withstand tough industrial environments for optimal reliability and fuctionality, the company says. They feature a buffer module – a power backup device that supplies standby voltage during brown-outs or load peaks for a defined period of time. B&R power supplies tolerate ambient temperatures ranging from -25 degrees C to 70 degrees C and feature short-circuit, overload and continuous open-circuit protection.
B&R power supplies meet UL 508, CSA, IEC and EN requirements. All products feature sophisticated mounting mechanics for user-friendly installation, the company adds. The use of cage clamp terminals that are easily accessible on the front side of the power supplies reduces wiring labor.
