BTU International has introduced the new TRITAN dual-lane metallization firing system. This system features increased throughput – at 3,600 wafers per hour – an edge-grip transport system and a temperature spike faster than three seconds, the company says.
The 90 MW metallization firing system also features BTU's TriSpeed technology, allowing users to take advantage of high ramp rates – up to 200 degrees C per second – while not compromising the drying and cooling sections of the profile. The three-belt, three-speed system provides improved control of profile development, the company adds.
BTU plans to formally debut the product at the upcoming SNEC International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference & Exhibition, which is scheduled to take place Feb. 22-24 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China.
