BTU International Inc., a supplier of thermal processing equipment for solar power manufacturers, has developed the new SinTerra metallization firing furnace.
‘We understand that our customers are under tremendous pressure to wring cost out their manufacturing lines while increasing efficiency,’ says Bob Bouchard, BTU's corporate marketing manager. ‘The SinTerra was designed to meet that challenge, with superior thermal performance, including fast ramp rates, all while enabling lower-cost manufacturing through high uptime and high throughput.’
The product is set to be officially unveiled in a couple weeks during the 2013 SNEC 7th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference & Exhibition, at which time more details will be available. But for now, inquiries can be made at sales@btu.com.
