BTU International, a supplier of thermal processing equipment for the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, says it has received an order from a customer in Asia for multiple Tritan metallization firing systems. All of the units are scheduled to be shipped in the second half of this year.
BTU International says the Tritan metallization firing system, which features the company's proprietary TriSpeed technology, allows users to take advantage of ramp rates of up to 200 degrees C per second, while not compromising the drying and cooling sections of the profile. The three-belt, three-speed system provides control of profile development, and the Tritan's fill factor results in increased efficiency, BTU adds.
