Bureau Veritas has been selected as compliance manager by the U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for the Genesis Solar Energy Project in Riverside County, Calif. The Genesis Solar Energy facility will be a 250 MW solar energy plant built, owned and operated by NextEra.
As compliance manager, Bureau Veritas says it will ensure that the project adheres to construction and environmental requirements during its construction phase. In addition, the company will work with other agencies in the environmental compliance monitoring.
