Caleffi has launched the DL3 iSolar data logger, which the company says is designed to enable the acquisition and storage of large amounts of data (such as energy metering and recorded values of the solar system) over a long period of time when connected to six iSolar controllers.
The DL3 features three inputs for Pt1000 temperature sensors and one 4-20 mA current loop analog input. BACnet/IP functionality for BACnet-conform transmission and reception of data is built in, Caleffi adds, and a configuring IP address and password protection allow for access from any PC with a LAN connection for system monitoring of energy metering or for reviewing system performance, without additional software.
Data can be downloaded through the Web interface, onto an SD memory card or through USB cable for further data processing in spreadsheet programs.
