Canada-based renewable energy developer SkyPower has entered into a new joint venture with Excess Energy, an installer of solar power systems in Ontario. The joint venture, called SkyPower Lite, will offer turnkey solar solutions and initially focus on solar hot water solutions.
The companies' pilot project coincides with the Ontario government's 2007 green objectives, which target 100,000 installed solar systems as part of its Go Green climate change strategy.
