Canadian Solar Connects 30 MW Solar Power Plant In China

Canadian Solar Inc. has completed its 30 MW ground-mounted solar power project in Tumushuke, in western China. This project was developed by Canadian Solar's subsidiary, CSI Solar Power Inc., with Gaochuangte New Energy providing engineering, procurement and construction services.

Approximately 129,600 Canadian Solar CS6P-235P modules were used in the facility, which is expected to generate 41.97 GWh of electricity per year. The plant is now grid connected.

‘We are pleased to announce the completion and grid connection of this ground-mounted project, which is so far the largest one we have completed in China," says Shawn Qu, chairman and CEO of Canadian Solar.
