Canadian Solar Inc. says its polysilicon modules have been rated by the California Energy Commission (CEC) under its PVUSA Test Conditions (PTC) program.
In the latest PTC Rating, Canadian Solar's CS6P-P 60-cell 255 W solar energy module received a PTC Rating of 91.88%, and the CS6X-P 72-cell 305 W modules received a PTC Rating of 91.90%.
‘The PTC Rating is widely recognized as one of the most realistic, credible measures of PV module output due to its strict definition and calculation criteria and ability to reflect real-world solar and climate conditions," says Shawn Qu, chairman and CEO of Canadian Solar.
