Canadian Solar Inc. has appointed Andrew Chen its chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately. Arthur Chien, who previously served as CFO, will continue as a special adviser to the CEO's office until the end of the year.
Before joining Canadian Solar, Chen served as CFO of ShengdaTech Inc., a high-tech chemical and specialty materials company. Prior to that role, he was CFO of Trony Solar Holdings. Chen has also served as CFO and vice president of China Nepstar Chain Drug Store Ltd. and as CFO and director of finance at YRC China International Transportation Operations, among other roles.
